If you are not currently a member of the PSPA the School Portrait Network would encourage you to become one today!  The PSPA is without a doubt the best place you can be to help you grow professionally in the school portrait industry.

The Professional School Photographers Association promotes consistent product quality and superior customer service.  To advance these high standards, a member-elected committee plans an annual convention incorporating topics of interest to the members of the PSPA.

At the convention, preceding the PMA Annual Convention and Trade Show, PSPA members are encouraged to exchange ideas, technical information and business knowledge.  Sessions update members on legislative and environmental issues.  Matters such as marketing, new electronic imaging technologies and ways to improve overall business operations and photographic techniques are also addressed.

Smoothing out the peaks and valleys resulting from the traditionally busy fall school portrait season is a constant challenge for school photographers and labs.  Sports teams, clubs, special events, proms and daycare photography make up just some of the expanded portrait opportunities PSPA members are pursuing.

News about these and other PSPA member activities are publicized in the monthly newsletter, The School Photographer.
