"I found the 20 x 30 composite to be one of the most unique
products that I have shown in my 30 years in this business. I did have an
envelope made & offered sales of 11 x 14 copies in only one school. I sold
11 x 14’s for $12, no commission. I sold just under 90 copies out of close to
600 kids....not a big money maker, but it did cover my cost for the one that I
gave the school. Plus, I did have 5 other sales in that school. I did not show the 20 x 30 composite to a single school that
did not like it. I used it as a tool to get a Spring sale into my approx. 12
schools that I had photographed for years, but would never allow a Spring sale.
I also picked up 6 new schools from "Brand X" with over 30 total new sales in
these 6 schools. With new digital products being available, I like to be the
first guy "on the block" to offer something new and different, rather than
constantly playing the catch up game with the other companies. In that respect,
the 20 x 30 composite opened doors for me, not only in competitors’ schools, but
also in my accounts that would not allow Spring sales in the past."
